The Partnership released its inaugural State of Housing in Connecticut report on January 16, 2026, offering a comprehensive look at the challenges and opportunities shaping affordability, creation, choice, and stability across the state. This iForum introduced key findings from the report and convened housing leaders, policymakers, and advocates for a deeper exploration of the data.
The program included remarks from Governor Ned Lamont, underscoring the urgency and statewide importance of the housing challenges—and solutions—outlined in the report. Attendees participated in a facilitated data walk led by the report authors and partner organizations. Together, participants examined trends, surfaced insights, and discussed implications for local and statewide policy. The session was designed to equip stakeholders with clear, actionable knowledge and renewed momentum to advance housing solutions in 2026 and beyond.
