The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) recently announced that it will be administering nearly $2 billion intended to renew and support more than 5,800 local homeless housing and service programs in the United States.
New projects have also been awarded funding under a Domestic Violence Bonus. These funds will be available for new projects developed to assist survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.
These grants will be administered through HUD’s Continuum of Care Program (CoC), and Connecticut will receive approximately $43 million for a variety of programs throughout the state.
