To help applicants develop a comprehensive implementation plan for the remediation and redevelopment of neighborhoods, districts, corridors, downtowns, waterfront zones or other areas burdened with multiple brownfields

DECD outlines an extensive list of eligible activities as part of the grant. This list is contained in the Request for Applications. The applicant must also contribute a 10% cash match to the overall project. In-kind contributions do not count.

Application rounds open every two years. (Most recently was open in January 2024.)
