State Bond Commission Approves Over $50M for Housing and Development

 

On January 30 the bond commission met and approved over $50 million for housing and development. The specific items are listed below.

  • $1.5 million to the Office of Policy and Management for transit-oriented development and predevelopment activities
  • $5 million for the Department of Housing for various housing projects and programs, including $2 million to fund predevelopment activities for supportive housing portfolio properties.
  • $20 million for the Department of Housing to finance permanent supportive housing initiatives.
  • $10.6 million for the Department of Housing for the Flexible Housing Program.
  • $5 million to the Department of Housing for the Housing Trust Fund.
