Research Review Underscores Link Between Housing and Health Care Savings

A new research review issued by the National Housing Conference looks at the effectiveness of housing interventions in bringing about health care cost savings. The review offers a look at multiple studies that provide a link between permanent supportive housing for individuals experiencing homelessness and savings on public health care expenditures. The review also offers additional assessment with the opportunities that are available through the Affordable Care Act and expanded Medicaid.
