This paper is a market study, undertaken by KeyBank and Center for Financial Services Innovation in an effort to understand what motivates members of underbanked market in seeking out banks or check cashing services to fulfill their financial service needs.  This study sought to determine whether it was price, experience, confidentiality, comfort, products or some other factor which would be most likely to influence those who are underbanked in their choice of where to seek financial services.
