HUD Releases Brief on DC's HUD-VASH Program


Washington, DC has had tremendous success housing chronically homeless veterans, the topic of a recent US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) brief - "VASH Plus" - highlighting successful use of the HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program. The brief details how the Washington, DC has housed 105 vulnerable and chronically homeless veterans through collaboration with community partners, the use of flexible case management services, and the creation an inventory of housing options for voucher recipients.
