HUD Publishes Notice to Amend FY2010 Section 811 NOFA – Additional $30 Million Available

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has published a notice to amend the FY10 Section 811 Supportive Housing Program Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) and makes an additional $30 million available to applicants. The original Section 811 NOFA, released April 8, made approximately $111 million available, but the amended NOFA includes appropriations authorized under the final FY11 budget. The total combined funding available under the FY10 Section 811 Supportive Housing for Persons with Disabilities NOFA is now approximately $141 million.

Additionally, the notice includes technical corrections as well as a revised available funds/allocation chart. The amendment does not change the deadline date for applications, which are still due on June 23, 2011.
