HUD Announces Supportive Services Demonstration NOFA for Seniors

On January 20, 2016, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released a Notice of Funding Availability for a Supportive Services Demonstration for Elderly Households in HUD-Assisted Multifamily Housing. This NOFA is for approximately $15 million to assist low-income elders to remain in their homes as they age to help reduce the high cost related to institutional care.

As part of this demonstration, HUD will provide funding for an Enhanced Service Coordinator, a health care nurse, and the evaluation of the enhanced supportive services model effectiveness.   

Deadline to apply for the Demonstration is April 18, 2016, at 11:59:59 pm. The applications must be submitted electronically at www.grants.gov.
