In November the House Committee on Financial Services and the House Committee on Appropriations announced their subcommittee chairs for the 114^th Congress. Below are the chairs of the housing related subcommittees.

House Committee on Financial Services

• Representative Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO) will chair the Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance. That subcommittee oversees HUD and has jurisdiction over issues related to public housing, HUD-assisted multifamily housing, and rural housing.

House Committee on Appropriations

• Representative Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) will chair the Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies.
