Homeless Cost Study: Los Angeles

This 2-year cost study from the United Way of Greater Los Angeles followed 4 individuals in L.A. who moved into supportive housing from homelessness. The cost of housing and case management in supportive housing was compared to the cost of services the individuals accessed while they were homeless in previous years. The results showed that the combined cost of homelessness for the four individuals was $80,000 more than supportive housing.
