Governor Malloy Announces Next Commissioner of Developmental Services

 

On February 2, Governor Dannel P. Malloy announced that Morna Murray of Glastonbury will be leading the state’s Department of Developmental Services.

The Department of Developmental Services serves over 19,000 people with intellectual disabilities, over 4,000 of which are infants and toddlers.

Ms. Murray has a background in state and federal public policy and most recently worked as the President and CEO of the Connecticut Community Providers Association.

Murray began her position as Commissioner of Developmental Services on February 9.
