CT Realtors Report Increases in Sales and Sale Prices in May

According to the newest Connecticut REALTORS report, comparing May 2016 with May 2017, single-family home and condominium sales and median sales prices have increased in the Nutmeg state.

The median sales price of single-family homes increased by 4% from $249,900 to $260,000. The median sales price of condominiums and townhouses increased by 3.6% from $165,000 to $170,875.

According to the report, single-family home and condominium sales both increased by double digits. Single-family home sales experienced a 10% bump from 3,095 to 3,406, while condominium and townhouse sales spiked 25.4% from 697 to 874.
