Connecticut Awarded $3 Million Grant to Expand Access to Affordable Housing

On Friday, May 6, 2016 Governor Dannel P. Malloy and the Connecticut Congressional delegation announced that the State of Connecticut has been awarded a grant of $3 million from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The federal funds are being made available  through the National Housing Trust Fund, a new affordable housing program created to expand access to affordable housing across the state. The Connecticut Department of Housing will administer this funding to increase and preserve the supply of affordable housing.
