Complete Streets Toolkit for Connecticut Now Available

Tri-State Transportation Committee

The Tri-State Transportation Campaign and the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities teamed up to release the “Complete Streets in a Box” toolkit. Complete streets are places where motorists, pedestrians, cyclists and public transportation can co-exist in a safe and comfortable environment enabling convenient and safe travel for all.

This toolkit contains resources to help municipalities adopt and implement complete streets policies. The toolkit resources are targeted for Connecticut, helping municipalities meet the 2010 Complete Streets Law that requires all transportation projects that receive state funding to consider using complete streets design features.
