Census Releases Housing Reports and Mobile App

The U.S. Census Bureau regularly releases reports using the data collected from the 2010 Census.  Two of their most recent reports include state-level data on housing and population characteristics: the “Summary Population and Housing Characteristics Report” contains tables that show how people of different demographics live in each state, down to the place level, while the “Population and Housing Unit Counts Reports” contains tables that show the population and housing unit count from the 2010 census as well as area measurements and density down to the place level.

In addition, the Census has just released its first ever mobile app, “America’s Economy” which will send live updates of the nation’s key economic indicators to those who download it.

This is all part of the Census’ effort to make their key demographic, socio-economic and housing statistics more accessible.
