The Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities Housing Task Force (CCD) and the Technical Assistance Collaborative (TAC) have launched the Fiscal Year (FY) 2012 Melville Act Appropriations Campaign, which seeks $300 million to fully implement the Section 811 Supportive Housing for Persons with Disabilities reforms recently passed in the Frank Melville Supportive Housing Investment Act of 2010.
To gain support for the appropriation of $300 million in the FY 2012 US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) budget, TAC and CCD are urging disability housing advocates to contact their Members of Congress and ask that they contact HUD Appropriations Subcommittee leaders.
